did i mention that i have already lined a baking sheet with parchment paper and with a non-toxic pencil have sketched out the basic outline of my heart shaped meringues? on days when i am not feeling romantic i make them any two-dimensional geometric shape that i feel confident drawing - circles, squares, triangles (right angle or equalateral), rhomboids or octagons. occasionally i'll go wild and draw an oval or two.
