during the annual fruitcake aficionados convention and taste-off, katie, jeff and i enjoyed a scenic jaunt to mount st. helen's for a little open air fruitcake tasting. we spent a wonderful after noon tasting our various creations and the festivities were only slightly marred by one of the more spirited fruitcakes bursting into flames when a nearby hiker lit a cigarette.
