yes, that is

tenzin mullin behind the mask. why not be me for halloween?!

many people say "monkey, how can i be just like you?" well, now you can with the monkey halloween mask! well, now you can with the monkey halloween mask!

all you need is a printer, some paper, some double stick adhesive tape, a pair of scissors, a face and the ability to follow these directions:

1. print out the official monkey mask on photo paper or card stock (you will have to print the picture on landscape, and you may have to adjust the image size on your computer a little... it's up to you.)

2. if you have printed the picture in black and white, you may wish to embellish it with a few swipes of an oatmeal colored crayon for a more realistic look.

3. cut out around the image with your trusty pair of scissors. you may also wish to cut out the eyes in the mask if you want to be able to see while you are wearing it. resist the urge to trim your own split ends while you have the scissors out and replace the scissors in the drawer before you get any other brilliant ideas.

4. tear off a 5 inch piece of double stick tape and carefully apply it to your forehead. (be careful to keep your hair for getting stuck to the tape or you may be needing those scissors again sooner than you thought.)

5. firmly press the mask to your face with the eyes positioned so that you can see.

6. optionally, you can wear a nice checkered bow tie around your neck. For the whole monkey experience don a soft terry bathrobe or jumpsuit for that overall monkey look and feel.

alternate method: don't cut out the eyes on the mask, and tape the mask to your forehead so that you are peeking out from under the masks chin. For a nice little touch, apply a jaunty checkered bow tie to the bridge of your nose.

alternate alternate method: first eat a popsicle. or, it could be a ice cream bar...or a chocolaty fudgesicle... or a yummy juice bar... or a lovely frozen mango kulfi... or any frozen snack on a stick. then wash all the sticky stuff from the popsicle stick and let it dry. glue the cut out mask to the popsicle stick. when dry, you can hold the mask in front of your face. this is a great quick disguise when you don't want anyone to recognize you.

here is where you can find the picture for the mask

don't forget to send pictures of yourself dressed up as me! . . . if ya' want.

enjoy!

back to halloween fun.
