being the sensitive little
primate that i am, i have been upset about the recent events. so,
being trendsetter that i am, i have developed my own living memorial
dedicated to the victims of the senseless violence of the cruel
terrorist attacks that occurred the morning of september 11th 2001.
|
 |
| in my opinion,
it lasts longer than flowers, it's cheaper than chocolate, it's quicker
than building statues and is something that anyone and everyone worldwide
can experience first hand... and i hope it will make a difference. |
the
name:
|
monkey’s
"living memorial
to
the victims of the
september 11th terrorist attacks"
project.
|
ok the name is not that catchy,
but that is not the point. is it?
the inspiration:
i was inspired by the stories about all the people who were trapped
in the planes or buildings facing certain death and how they made phone
calls to their family and friends to tell them that they loved them.
the memorial:
in their memory and to honor all the victims, their families and
friends, as well as everyone who is working tirelessly to help in the
aftermath of this tragedy, i have solemnly sworn to tell everyone i care
about that i love them. i know it’s a big undertaking, but, guided by
their selfless examples, i know i can do it. a lot of letters will have
to be written, a lot of phone calls made, a lot of hugs and kisses exchanged,
but, nothing less will do to honor these people!
how you can contribute:
you too can contribute to this living memorial. just grab someone
you love and tell them so! (or you can e-mail them, or write them a post
card, call them on the phone or draw them a picture,or give them a squeeze
( the possibilities are endless! be creative. ) while this contribution
is not tax deductible it is a priceless gift will be cherished and easily
passed on. don’t wait! contribute now ... and pass it on.
